privacy policy
This policy explains what devopsellence collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the website, dashboard, CLI, and managed runtime features.
what we collect
We collect the information needed to run the service you ask us to run.
- Account data such as your email address, account kind, and login state.
- Identity-provider data from GitHub or Google, including provider identifiers, verified email, and basic profile metadata they send us.
- Workspace data such as organizations, projects, environments, releases, deployments, node names, labels, and runtime configuration.
- Infrastructure metadata such as desired-state locations, public IPs, provider server identifiers, region and size selections, and environment secret names.
- Secrets and Cloudflare tunnel tokens that you submit so we can provision runtime access and managed HTTPS ingress for your workloads.
- Authentication and security data such as session state, API token digests, refresh token digests, bootstrap token digests, and audit timestamps.
- Technical data such as IP address, user agent, request logs, and operational telemetry needed to secure and troubleshoot the service.
how we use information
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To create organizations, environments, releases, nodes, and managed runtime capacity.
- To store, publish, sign, and deliver desired state to nodes.
- To provision and control runtime resources, including artifact access, object storage access, and secret access.
- To investigate incidents, prevent abuse, enforce limits, and improve reliability.
- To communicate with you about the service, including account recovery, security issues, and product updates.
how information is shared
We do not sell personal information.
- With infrastructure providers we use to run the platform or your workloads, including Google Cloud and any configured managed-node providers.
- With identity providers you choose to use for login, such as GitHub or Google.
- With Cloudflare when you enable tunnel-backed ingress for an environment.
- With service providers that help us operate the product, only as needed to deliver the service.
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of devopsellence, our users, or the public.
secrets and runtime data
devopsellence is a deployment platform, so some of the information you submit is operationally sensitive. We use it to run your workloads, not to inspect application content for unrelated purposes.
- Environment secrets and Cloudflare tunnel tokens are used to provision runtime access and managed HTTPS ingress for the environment that owns them.
- Release and deployment metadata are used to build, publish, and reconcile desired state on nodes.
- You are responsible for the content of the applications, images, data, and secrets you choose to deploy.
retention
- We keep account, organization, project, environment, and deployment records for as long as your account or workspace remains active, and longer if needed for security, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
- Short-lived authentication artifacts such as access tokens and bootstrap tokens are designed to expire automatically.
- We may retain logs, backups, and security records for a limited period after deletion.
your choices
- You can update workspace configuration, rotate secrets, revoke bootstrap tokens, and delete nodes or environments from the product surface where those controls are available.
- You can stop using the service at any time.
- If you want account or workspace deletion help, contact us and we will handle the request subject to security and legal requirements.
security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, and you should not use devopsellence for workloads or data that require guarantees beyond the platform's published security posture.
children
devopsellence is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the effective date.
